Old Bight

Willie Seymour Age 22 Years of Old Bight Cat Island, the Bahamas
passed away after being involved in a traffic accident on Friday, December 25, 1998.

He was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Saturday, November 06, 1976.
At the tender age of two weeks, he was taken to Cat Island and let in the care of his grandmother
Lillian Armbrister. This fine specimen of a boy grew into a handsome energetic young man.

He received his education at the Old Bight Primary and Secondary Schools. Upon graduating,
he remained on Cat Island, where he sought employment with the M/V Seahauler.
Through this avenue he was able to provide for his grandmother, he later worked with
Devon Seymour's Construction Company, until the time of his death.

Always concerned about the welfare of others he went beyond the call of duty
and never hesitated to render assistance wherever needed. A lover of the sea,
he enjoyed fishing and sailing, he always saw to it that his mother and grandmother
received their fair share of whatever catch he made.

Willie loved the Lord and worshipped at Zion Baptist Church in Old Bight, Cat Island.
Whenever the doors of the church opened, he was always ready to take part in praising the Lord.

The Radiance of this "Topaz of A Gem" will always glow in the hearts of his:
