Vera Bain

April 15, 1934 — January 19, 2015

#42 Center Drive, Miller’s Heights

Vera Bain Age 80 Years of #42 Center Drive, Miller's Heights off Carmichael Road,
sewed her final stitch at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, January 19, 2015.

She was born at Robert Village Tableland, Trinidad and Tobago West Indies on Sunday, April 15 1934.

As a teenager, she developed the love for sewing and became an excellent seamstress.
Vera, as she was affectionately called, came to Nassau where she found gainful
employment at Andre Calypso, Majestic Travel and until her retirement, Lyford Cay.

Her love for sewing led her to mentor many kids in her community and those who came close to her.
Her love for God led her to join Calvary Bible Church where she was a member.

Vera, spent many years nurturing and taking care of her son, her grandchildren and he godchildren.
You could always find her sharing God's word and singing praises to her God with them. During our
visits, she would say continue to pray, offering encouraging words and yes feeding you.

Sadly, after a brief illness, Vera slipped away to be with Lord after two weeks in the
Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, January 19, 2015.
