Shaphan Henry Hinson Sr.

Shaphan Henry Hinson Sr. Age 74 Years of Five Keys Providenciales, 
Turks and Caicos Islands made his last voyage and completed his final building 
at Doctors Hospital on Sunday, October 07, 2012.

He was born at South Caicos, Turks & Caicos Islands on Sunday, December 12, 1937.

In December 1965 he married Evelyn Alexis Pitts from Belize Central America and had six wonderful children. 
He was a devoted Mason and gave his heart to the Lord in 2008.

Shaphan began his career as Seaman sailing the seven seas for several different companies 
including shell Oil Company which he later became first mate. After leaving Shell Oil company, 
he moves back home to South Caicos to take care of his family. He was an outstanding general 
contractor and construction foreman.

In 1986 he moved to Portland Oregon with his two older son to ensure they had a proper education. 
After about five years, he longed for the islands he grew up in and moved back to Providenciales to 
he built a home with his wife Evelyn Hinson, and he continued his work as a General Foreman.

Shaphan is preceded in death by his:

Mother: Leanza Anne Malcolm-Hinson;

Nine Grandsons: Dominique, Dante and Devin Meade, Drew Myer, Donavan Sommerton, Isaac Hinson, 
Darren and Dylan Roberts and Jamyrian Graye; 
Six Granddaughters: Senovia, Nyisha, Victoria and Cathy Hinson, Samantha Saunders and Sidney Myer;
One Great Granddaughter: Savannah Pitsul;
Two Sisters: Mary Godet and Diana Warzecha;
Five: Nephews;
Eleven: Nieces;
Three Sons-in-law: Michael Baugess, Sheldon Johnson and Lonnie Myer;
Three Daughters-in-law: Ruth, Eula and Yanique Hinson;
Three Brother-in-law: Keith and Anthony Pitts and Edd Dodet;
One Sister-in-law: Una Sutherland;
Other loving family and friends.
