Russell Stanton Barthon Pratt Age 62 Years of Joe Farrington Road East, Completed 
his final building, at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, June 08, 2025.

He was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Tuesday, October 31, 1962.Russell 
was nurtured in the wonderful Fox Hill Community. He was christened and baptized at Mt. 
Carey Union Baptist Church.

Russell received his early education at the Sandilands All Aged School from 1969 to 1974, 
then went on to L. W. Young High School from 1974 to 1980.

He had a great love for sports, he was one of the fastest at the time. He also loved music, 
boating, fishing traveling and gardening (Mr. Green Thumb).

As a child Russell would sit and watch his uncle John build cabinets, this is where he got 
the inspiration to become a License Contractor. This career he led him to explore many 
companies in New Providence and also travel to a few islands.

Russell, displayed his dynamic building and roofing skills, with Cavalier, Jones and Brokell 
Construction Companies, Arawak Homes and Bird Cay the Berry Islands to mention a few.

He was also an entrepreneur of his own company "Roofing Masters Construction and Renovations."

Russell met and fell in love with Rosemary Glinton, the gem of his eyes. They've been loving each 
other for 43 years, this union was blessed with four children Joseph, Lisle, Simone and Russlyn.

"The Ayatollah" as he was affectionately called, love to sit under the tree and talk about life 
and God! He also loved spending time with family and grand-kids, as they would affectionately 
call him "Papa."

Russell was a man with a very giving and loving heart. Anyone that was blessed to meet him, never 
left his presence empty handed. Russell was a man of great character; he always chose to see the 
God and the good in people. He was unquestionably a beautiful soul. "The Opal of A Gem."

On Saturday, June 07, 2025 Russell exerted the love he had for God by saying, "Absent from 
the body present with the Lord", he continued his day in peace and grace.

On Sunday morning June 08, 2025 Russell sat under the Sour Sop Tree, at peace, gracing us with 
his presence one more time. Later that afternoon, Russell quietly departed this world at peace. "He 
will remain in our hearts, God needed him now."  

Russell is preceded in death by his:
Father-in-law: Theophilus Leo Glinton;
Mother-in-law: Maude Edith Finlayson-Glinton;

Wife: Rosemary Ellen Glinton-Pratt;

Two Daughters: Russlyn Statina Barthtina Pratt and Simone Kelly Pugh (Dereck Carey);
Three Grandsons: Amari Theodore and Mikhail Jabri Pugh and Jermaine Newton; 
One Granddaughter: Sariyah Meghan Carey; 
Father: Rev. Wendell Wellington Pratt (Minister Estella);
Mother: Elder Agnes Letisha Edgecombe;
Three Brothers: Antoine Bowe I (Ormanique), Levardo Pratt and Wendell Edgecombe (Marion); 
Six Sisters: Tirza and Nakita Bowe, Wendolyn Rahming (Jason), Patrice Thompson, 
Sheena Gibson (Trevor) and Ann Edwards;
