Rudolph Kenneth Sealey

March 11, 1929 — January 10, 1998

Nassau

Rudolph Kenneth Sealey Age 68 Years of Fire Trail Road,
bid the world farewell at the Princess Margaret Hospital on
Saturday, January 10, 1998.

He was born on Monday, March 11, 1929 at August Street,
Bain Town Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas. At eleven months old,
Rudolph was taken by Olive Culmer his first cousin, to Stanyard Creek Andros,
Bahamas where he was reared and raised by his sister, Sybil Brown.

His early education took place at the Stanyard Creek All Age School.
Upon completion of his schooling he relocated to Nassau seeking employment.
His profession by trade was a carpenter. He gained employment at the
Silver Slipper as a dancer. He was nicknamed "Bull Moose".
He was later employed at the Bahamas Electricity Corporation,
where he worked for several years until he took an early leave due to an
injury to his back. He was later employed at Potters Cay Fish House,
by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries for several years.
He then went to work at the Adastra Gardens for a brief period.

Rudolph, through nurturing, moral training and maturation,
fell in love, grew in love and affection with Rose Morris. T
his affection and relationship expanded to the point where
they decided to take it to the highest level on Tuesday, June 14, 1955
by embracing the institution of marriage. No matter the
reason for it happening, how it happened, where it happened
or the style of the happening, it happened just in time!!

The season of marriage gave rise to the season of parenthood,
which Rudolph participated in gracefully, unassumedly and
he graciously accepted the gift of nine children. Rudolph's
children can vividly remember and have fond memories of
the quality time he spent with them. No matter what happens,
how it happens, when it happens or to whom it happens, it happens just in time!!
