Rosella "Yella" Woodside Age 83 Years #11 Apple Street East, 
Completed her final chores at her residence on Thursday, December 05, 2019.


She was born at Stanyard Creek Andros, The Bahamas on Tuesday, March 07, 1936.
Rosella attended the Stanyard Creek Andros All-Age School until the age of 14.

Rosella was a diligent and industrious worker, she was employed as a waitress at the Cat
Cay Resort in the 1960's. in her later years she gained employment with the Ministry of
Education as a Custodian Worker for twenty five years until she retired in 1996. After
retirement she would babysit her grand and great grandchildren. Her character was
demonstrated daily through her neighbourhood. Rosella was a great cook and enjoyed
cooking large pots of food, enough to feed her entire neighbourhood.


Rosella was a caring and loving mother who raised nine children, two who are predeceased.
She was a mentor and a no-nonsense woman who disciplined her children, nieces and nephews.
She ruled with an iron hand, but love with a soft and gentle heart.


Rosella live a humble and peaceful life, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 2015. She had multiple
strokes in 2016 to 2018. Her health deteriorate over time. On the morning of December 5th 2019
she passed away quietly at home.
