Peggy Eileen Rolle

Peggy Eileen Rolle Age 46 Years of #28 Lady Slipper Avenue, 
Garden Hills No.2 finished her earthly walk, at her residence 
on Saturday, January 23, 1999.

Peggy was born at Landrail Point, Crooked Island, Bahamas 
on Monday, August 25, 1952 to John and Alexandria Vernice Rolle.

"Aunt Pegs" as she was affectionately called, was educated at 
Landrail Point All-Age School. At the age of twelve, she relocated 
to Nassau with the family. She continued her education, 
at Bahamas Academy and then the Bahamas Teachers College, 
where she received her Teachers Certificate.

She was employed as a teacher by the Ministry of Education, 
she taught at numerous schools for twelve years, being forced 
to retire early, because of illness. She later opened her own 
pre-school for ten years, once again having to walk away 
because her illness grew worse.

The Radiance of this "Sardonyx of A Gem" will always glow in the hearts of her:

Five Aunts: Enda Burke, Lydia Miller, Ruth McKinney, 
Clara Andrews and Joetta Deveaux;
Grand Aunt: Vera McKinney;
Two Brothers-in-law: Edward Rolle and Howard Carey;
Two Sisters-in-law: Nellie and Marilyn Rolle;
Seven Nephews: Elwood, Tareque, Tomico, Jayson, Hugo, Lynden and Donald;
