Paulamae Loretta Williams-Clarke Age: 60 Years of #28 Breadfruit Street, Pinewood Gardens,
completed her final duties at Doctors Hospital West on Saturday, November 07, 2020.
She was born at Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas on Friday, December 18, 1959.
She got her early education, starting at Busy Bee Pre-School, Shirlea Primary, Eastern Sr.
and completed at the A. F. Adderley Senior High.
Paula was a mathematician, very Shirlee good with numbers. After leaving School,
Paula and her sister Sandra join their aunt Vernita, working for her father in one of his bars.
Paula explored other career's, such as for a few years she worked as a housekeeper for the
Smiths of Belair Estates. She quit that job to care for her grandson Lamond Jr., shortly
after she worked at Precious Jewel Pre-School.
Paula met the love of her life Basil, growing up in the same community they
both knew each other family very well. After being together for so many years,
they were joined in holy matrimony on the twentieth of May 2000. This love affair lasted
for 40 years and was blessed with five children five grand and one great grand.
Paula discover in 1987 she was a diabetic. Over the years she developed other health challenges.
On many occasions she would tell her sister Monique. I would give anything to see yall clear again,
after losing her sight Paula was loved by many.
Paula would take the shirt of her back to help anybody, I do mean anybody. She would give
her food away and remain hungry to help anyone in need, Paula was one of those rare gem,
once you told her something she never forgets. She knew when all of her older nephews and
nieces, cousins and kids birthdays. She was the back bone in her family, her children adore her,
she was the apple in her grand kids eyes. Her brothers and sisters praised her in every way,
neighbor and strangers respected her. And to me (Monique) she was my rock my everything.
On Wednesday, 28 October after not feeling well for a few days, she told her son Anthony to call
the ambulance for her. As she went, she told them that mommy love yall and to take care of her
grand babies, as she refer to them. On November 07th at 8:40 am she passed from time to eternity.
