Moses "Big Moe" Deveaux Age: 69 Years of #5 Park Avenue, Gleniston Gardens,
completed his final administrative duties, at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, February 03, 2022.
Moses was born at Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas on Wednesday, October 01, 1952.
He grew up on 6th Street, The Grove.
His early education began at Claridge Primary School then on to St John's College.
Having completed St. John's College, he served for a short stint in the medical records department
at the Princess Margaret Hospital, before going on to Allegany College where he studied medical records.
He was not content with just an Associate Degree so he enrolled in Florida Atlantic University,
there completed both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
Upon completion of his studies, he returned to The Bahamas where and served as a public servant
until he retired Oct 2017 as Deputy Hospital Administrator. He continued to work in retirement
consulting to businesses that provided support / services to the medical field.
Moses enjoyed farming helping his late mother Louise Hepburn on their farm on Cowpen Road,
this passion he passed on to his son. He was the greatest cheerleader of his two grandchildren
proudly attending award ceremonies, doing school pickup, summer trips were a must,
taste testing dishes, providing life guidance and ensuring Wendy's was always an option for lunch!
`He was an uncle that you could call on in time of need and was always one to 'connect' you to a lead
to help you get ahead and/ or aid in resolving whatever your issue might be. He enjoyed listening to music,
dancing and analyzing state of affairs with his friends via phone on a daily basis until he got too ill to do so.
