Maxwell George Gibbs

Maxwell George Gibbs Age 59 Years of Saffron Street, Pinewood Gardens Nassau, New Providence, 
The Bahamas, was called from life to reward at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, January 08, 2007.

Max was born on Sunday, June 22, 1947 at East Harbour South Caicos, Turks and Cacios Islands 
to the late Nancy nee Walkine Forbes and Autto Collin Gibbs.

After the death of his father, he was brought to Nassau by his mum. 
Maxwell as he was affectionately called received his education at the 
Western Senior School along with his sister the late Helen Archer.

Max was employed at numerous places, one of the first being Decker where he worked for a few years, 
the majority of his working career was spent at Aqua Pure Water Company, 
where he was one of their chief salesman and then a supervisor. 
He continued his career in sales at Pepsi, which allowed him to interact with the public on a daily basis.

Around this time his health began to decline and he became a Security Officer. 
His last place of employment was at his brother's business, Thompson's Auto. 
Max worked with his brother for a time, which was particularly enjoyable to both of them, 
as it allowed them to spend a lot of time together and discuss current events, 
of which Max had an avid interesting. This was not able to continue as his health 
was steadily declining and he was unable to work, forcing him to retire. In his remaining years, 
he was taken care of by his niece Gigi Mackey. Max was always known for his jokes, 
but when he had an opinion about something no one could change his mind about it. 
He was very friendly and made quite a bit of friends over the years.

The Radiance of this "Pearl of A Gem" will always in the hearts of his:

Jowelle and Renaldo Dill, Ryan Curry, Bradley Jr. and Bradlena Gibbs;
Grand Nephews and Nieces Including:  Erin, Everette Jr., and Erik Mackey, and Ricargia Sands;
Cousins: Mae and Christine Johnson, Sylvia larrimore Crawford, Ted and Sandra Sealy, Isaac, 
Gloria, Larry, Carter, Rogann, Robert, Leslie and Samuel Forbes, Levi, David, Stafford, 
Ted and Philip Larimore, John Bowe, Aaron "Kiki", Gloria and Gregory Knowles, Helen Davis, 
Joanne White, Patricia Chisholm, Ricardo Bullard, Doris Sturrup and their families;
Sisters-in-law: Kordelle Thompson and Louise Gibbs;
