Margo Lavern "Pumpkin" Knowles-Humes Age 28 Years of Calabash Bay Andros, Bahamas
went to meet the Lord, at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Wednesday, September 10, 2008.
Margo Lavern was born on Saturday, September 29, 1979 at Mastic Point North, Andros Bahamas.
She attended the Mastic Point Primary and Central Andros High Schools. Upon completing her schooling,
she was employed at Androsia as a sales clerk, later she moved to the Central Andros Service Station.
It was at this time that she was diagnose with lupus.
Through the years, she met the dashing Mr. Sirtanno S. Humes and after dating for some time,
they were married on Saturday, November 23, 2002.
Pumpkin as she was affectionately called was the humblest, loving, considerate and influential
person you could have known. To know her was to love, she had a warm pleasant smile that
touched the lives of those who knew her.
She left a remarkable impact on many; Margo was the pillar of our family. She never turned
anyone away who was in any kind of need. When we look at the brightness of the sun,
we will always remember Margo's smile.
As the year 2008 rolled in she became extremely ill and was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit
at the Princess Margaret Hospital, she was later moved to the Female Medical #2 where she remained
until her victory over her illness was received, her last words to her sisters was I love you all!!
