Leviticus Laing Sr. Age 82 Years of Mars Bay, South Andros 
went to with the Lord, at his home on Thursday, March 05, 1998.


Leviticus was born at Freetown, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas on Sunday, March 07, 1915.

He received his education at the public school in Freetown, Grand Bahama.
After completing his course of studies, he left home in search of gainful employment.
This led his to the United States, where he worked on the contract for a number of years.


Upon his return to the Bahamas, he worked as a carpenter and
later a security officer for many years, before he retired.
He was a member of the Mason Lodge and a member of Zion Baptist Church.


Leviticus is preceded in death by his:
Father: Napoleon Laing;
Mother: Elizabeth Laing;

The Radiance of this "Bloodstone of A Gem" will always glow in the hearts of his:
Wife: Sylvia Smith-Laing of Mars Bay South, Andros;
Three Sons: Alonzo, Gregory and Wilbert Laing;
Four Daughters: Joycelyn Smith of Freeport, Grand Bahama, Sandra Young,
Leota Rahming and Leanna McKinney;

Sixteen Grandchildren: Monique, Tameka, Tashika, Kevin, Dwayne,
Shanique, Robyn, Darren, Lekendra, Keneisha, Kendal, Keisha, Monique,
Jordan, Jonathan and Jabarri;

One Great Grandson: Marvin Damiko Johnson;
Two Brothers: Joseph and Orman Laing;
Four Sons-in-law: Joseph Smith of Freeport, Grand Bahama,
Eugene McKinney, Robert Young and Kendal Rahming;

Two Daughters-in-law: Rose and Beverley Laing;
Three Brothers-in-law: Roy Nixon, Elijah Forbes and Hubert Thompson;
Five Sisters-in-law: Inez Carey, Mable Nixon, Minerva Tucker, Effie Thompson and Ena Forbes;
Numerous: Nephews and Nieces;
Many other loving family and friends.
