Kevin Dubarry Ellis Sr. Age: 62 Years of #13 West Court, Ninth Terrace Centerville,
complete his final pair of shoes repair at his residence on Wednesday, June 22, 2022.

If you had the pleasure of knowing Kevin, chances are, your memories of him bring a smile to your face.
He always had a joke ready and couldn't wait to make you laugh. Even if you only met him once,
you probably left that interaction in a good mood. He was funny, charming, sincere and did everything
within his power to make sure the people in his life knew how much he cared for them.

Kevin was born on Saturday, January 16, 1960 and was the third child of Waite (deceased) and Violet Ellis.
He attended St Augustine's College and excelled in track and field. He was a natural athlete,
and his love of fitness remained with him. He was always active and even led aerobics classes.
Throughout his life he stayed fit and healthy, a passion he passed on to his children.

Kevin ran a successful shoe store, Shoe Heal, for many years and was very skilled in the art of shoe repair.
His attention to detail and dedication to his craft set him apart from the rest. He brought that same energy
to other parts of his life and it could be seen by the way he showed care for those in his life. In his later years
he lived with his mother and took pride in taking care of her and the house. He diligently made breakfast
every morning and ensured there was food in the house.

He and his wife, Genie, had three beautiful children together. Although they didn't always see eye-to-eye,
they definitely agreed on how much they loved Krysta, Kevin Jr, and Nathan.

A true testament of a man's character is his relationship with his children, and in this regard,
Kevin truly excelled. He was extremely close with his children, and they knew that he was
proud of and loved each of them. The love he had for his children extended to his many
nieces and nephews. Kevin regularly called family members and friends to check in,
make sure they were okay, and to share a joke or two.

He enjoyed life and liked to have a good time. His favourite music was the fun, upbeat sounds
of Prince, Michael Jackson, Billy Ocean and Charlie Wilson. Kevin was truly a joyous person
and brought happiness to whoever he was around. Optimistic and talkative, he was quick to
strike up a conversation with a stranger and always encouraged his family to look at the bright
side of things. He put the needs of others before himself and would give his last to help someone he loved.

Kevin was taken from us suddenly on June 22, 2022, his mother's birthday. His last words to her,
the night before he died, was "I love you, Mummy. I want to wish a very happy birthday tomorrow."
His joyous nature and caring spirit contributed greatly to the lives of his family. He will be greatly missed.
