Keva Charlene Ellis

February 23, 1961 — June 7, 2016

Nassau

Keva Charlene Ellis Age 55 Years of #13 West Court, Ninth Terrace Centerville
passed away quietly in the presence of her loving daughters and her dear mother,
at Doctors Hospital on Tuesday, June 07, 2016.

She was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Thursday, February 23, 1961.
After the birth of Keith, Cheryl, and Kevin, another baby girl was born to Waite and Violet Ellis,
whom they named "Keva", which means beautiful, gentle and kind, attributes which aptly came to describe her.

Keva's educational journey took her through Columbus Primary, St. Augustine College and
St. Leo's College. She valued the many friends she met during her employment with Stephens Fabrics,
Michael Horton Chambers, Purity Bakery, Shell Bahamas and New Providence Development Company.

One of her greatest joys was giving birth to her daughters Rachel and Michaela, whom she treasured.
Keva spent many quiet moments with them and cherished being a mother.

Unbeknownst to many, Keva, loved playing racket ball and was a fierce competitor in tennis.
She held the bragging rights of being able to achieved 3000 jump ropes within her morning
exercise ritual, and arose 3:45 a.m. daily to jog three to five miles. She carried this same
determination and discipline into her battle and will to live.

Amidst the many challenges she faced in the past few months, we still hoped to enjoy many more
sunrises with Keva, but alas, her sunset came on Tuesday, 07th June 2016 surrounded by
her daughters, mother and a few close friends
