Kenneth Rudolph Hepburn Age: 61 Years of #17-A Fifth Street, Coconut Grove
completed his final painting job, at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
Kenneth was born at Freeport, Grand Bahamas, The Bahamas on Thursday, January 25, 1962
Kenneth was the seventh of thirteen children. He was affectionately called "Bussie or Papi K"
by those that knew him well.
Kenneth received his early childhood education at Martin Town Primary School and
he later attended Eight Mile Rock High. After leaving High School, Kenneth found employment
with Leader Beverage Company and later Tod Hunter Mitchel Distilleries where he remained
for a number of years. After working in Grand Bahama for some time, Bussie decided that
it was time to relocate and find work somewhere else, that's when he would relocate to
Nassau and decided to make it his home.
While in Nassau, Bussie would later find the love of his life in the person of
Ms. Antoinette Hamilton and this relationship would bring forth his second
son Ashly Hamilton. After realizing that his life was still incomplete, he decided
that he would make Antoinette his wife and on 18th August, 2000 the pair
were joined in Holy Matrimony in Nassau.
Family was everything to Bussie, from the regular poker games, family gatherings and parties,
you would always hear him talk about his family. He was also one that knew his Bible,
you would recognize this once a hot Bible debate started. He knew those scriptures l
ike the back of his hand. While in Nassau he would form a friendship with a gentleman
by the name of Wendell Johnson also known as "Bull". This friendship blossomed into
a brotherhood that will never end even by his death.
Bussie always loved painting and he always joked around about being "THE BEST"
painter in the Bahamas, and it was because of this love that he and bull would find
employment with Johnson & Johnson Painting that garner contracts and executed
them and received numerous compliments about buildings around the city of Nassau
that they would've painted.
On the morning of April 26th, 2023 Bussie complained about experiencing chest pains
to his wife Antoinette and later instructed her to call the ambulance. Upon arrival of t
he ambulance Bussie experience a seizure and he was rushed off to the hospital.
As faith would have it, Bussie would slip from time into eternity and gain his heavenly wings.
