Kenmon Stephen Eugene "John Boy" Armstrong Age 16 Years of
#05 Lawson Street off Soldier Road, completed his walk of life at his residence on Monday, April 13, 2009.
Kenmon was born on Monday, October 19, 1992 at Nassau, New Providence,
the Bahamas he was the third child and the only son. At the age of two
Kenmon attended sister Bullard's Pre School Kid E Academy and was loved
by his teachers Shawn Wilson and Wendy Thompson.
At the age of five years he started his primary education at Palmdale Primary School
where he a school prefect, obtained excellent grades and received many certificates
for honor roll, both principal and vice principal list, from grade 1 through completion of primary school.
He was also a finalist in the school spelling bee competition in 2001.
After primary school Kenmon went on to attend L. W. Young Junior High School a
nd then Doris Johnson Senior High School, and was presently in the 11th grade,
where he recently was a finalist in the school's First-Inter House spelling bee
competition 2009 and obtained a certificate for participation.
On Thursday April 09, 2009 Kenmon felt ill and was taken to the hospital
and returned home to take medication. Three days later his condition worsened
and he quietly passed away at home in the early morning of Easter Monday.
A few days before his passing he begged his mom who caved in to allow him to
host his very first slumber party at his house, and had 13 guys over to play video games,
hangout and ate lunch which was prepared by his mom and sister Nadia,
while they enjoyed Xbox tournaments in the living room that he transformed
into a video arcade with several TV's and games console that he hooked up to
make this event so exciting and most memorable for his friends.
Kenmon truly enjoyed that day and told his mom so.
All who knew him would remember his many talents and expertise in anything
he put his mind to do. He was very determined to get anything he wanted and
would not take no for an answer. John Boy developed a passion for computers,
electronic games, music video which he and his cousin DJ edited and put on the
internet, his other passion was rugby, which he loved attending practice and
playing in tournaments. Kenmon was not your average 16 year old teenager,
he had a mastermind and the residents of Lawson Street had their personal
satellite programmer and computer technician. He could solve any computer
and printer problems whenever any of his friends, family or neighbors called
on him for assistance. He will often be remembered for his clowning around
and bringing laughter in the home with his jokes and after school stories,
Kenmon was a mama's boy who always did anything for his mom's attention and affection.
Kenmon we love you, gone but not forgotten, we are looking forward to the
day when we will see you again in the resurrection as our heavenly father
Jehovah promised in (John 5:28, 29).
