Deep Creek

Irene Sands Age 75 Years of Deep Creek Eleuthera, The Bahamas was called to a fuller life,
at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Tuesday, March 20, 2007.

Irene was born on Monday, April 27, 1931 at Deep Creek Eleuthera, The Bahamas.
She was loved by many and was called the name 'Rene. She was educated a Deep Creek All Age School.

Renee stayed home and took care of her children until it was time to work,
she then joined the team at Rock Sound Club and then unto Cape Eleuthera until its closure.
Farming was her next support to her Family.

During 2005 Irene was diagnosed with kidney disease.
She then had to move to Nassau because she had to get treated on the dialysis machine.

In February of last month, she told the doctors that she had to go home
because she had something important to do, not knowing that would
be her last time visiting with friends and family.

On that Sunday while at home she went to church and gave a testimony one would never forget.
She would always go to church, sometimes not feeling well at all.
She visited with her pastor after church, she loved her pastor.
On Monday she returned back to Nassau where she stayed until the time of her death.

She was a member of the Mother's Club. On Saturday, March 17, 2007
she was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at the Princess Margaret Hospital.
On Tuesday March 20, 2007 she silently slipped away at 2:15 pm.
