Hezron Oral "Monk" Moxey Jr.

Hezron Oral "Monk" Moxey Jr. Age 40 Years of Pine Yard Road, 
completed his final duties, on Wednesday, June 14, 2006.

Monk was born at Duncan Town Ragged Island, on Friday, March 04, 1966.

This handsome fella grew up in 'Burrows yard' until age three when the family 
relocated to Nassau. He attended Stephen Dillet Primary, C. H. Reeves Junior 
and Government Senior High Schools. After graduating from G. H. S. in 1983, 
"Monk" as he was affectionatelly called, sought employment with City Markets. 
However, this was short lived as like his famous Master Mariner father, felt the 
call of the sea to follow in his dad's footsteps.

In 1985, he joined his brother Captain Dave, as first officer on a private yacht called 
"The Sheriff". It was during one of his trips home in 1992, he met and fell in love with 
a beautiful brown skin lady from Black Point, Exuma. On Saturday, July 03, 1999 they 
were united in holy matrimony this union, was blessed with one child. After the birth 
of his son, this proud father always smoked a "Hoggi".

During the 2004 Family Island Regatta in George Town, Exuma. "Monk" was injured 
after falling through a broken portion of the pier, cracking several of his ribs, while 
returning to duties on the Sheriff. Due to his injuries, "Monk" left the Sheriff and was 
later employed by the Atlantis Paradise Security Department.

Hezron Jr. is preceded in death by his:
