Evangeling Inez Gaitor-Levarity

February 23, 1938 — December 2, 2019

Nassau

Evangeline Inez "Vangie" Gaitor-Levarity Age 81 Years #41-A Rosebud Street West, off Hibiscus Street,
Chippingham. Sold her final garment at her residence on Monday, December 02, 2019.

She was born at the Berry Island, on Wednesday, February 23, 1938. She began her early
education at the Berry Island All Age School until she relocated to Nassau and attended the
Sacred Heart Catholic School. She then completed her studies at the Eastern Senior School.

Vangie entered the work field at the Straw Market in Bimini and thereafter relocated to
Berry Island where she worked at the family owned business the Calypso Club for many years.
She also worked at the Matinee Boutique, Jewelers International and the Hammerheads on
East Bay Street. She grew tired of the working force and decided to become an entrepreneur up
until her retirement when she moved to the United States to be with her daughter.

While in Bimini, Vangie met the love of her life, a handsome boat captain, Gladstone "Nopsey"
Levarity who stole her heart. They fell in love and got married in April 1960.

Vangie's health began to fail while in the United States. She was hospitalized in the
JFK Medical Center for 3 weeks as a result. She returned to Nassau and her health further
deteriorated. On December 2nd 2019 she gained her wings after dying at her daughter's
residence and went home to be with "her Jesus".

Vangie was very affectionate and loved by everyone she came into contact with.
She captured the hearts of everyone with her infectious laugh and bright smile.
Vangie was always straightforward, you always knew what she was feeling.
She loved all of her family but especially her baby boy Avery.
