Ena Arnett Wissort-McGregor Age: 37 Years of Deveaux Street,
Braided her final hair at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, June 30, 2022.
If you had the pleasure of knowing Ena, chances are, your memories of her
brings a smile to your face. She always had a good, respectable conversation
with everyone and made you laugh. Even if you only met her once, you probably
left that interaction in a good mood. She was funny, passionate, sincere, loving, humble and caring.
Ena was very dedicated to the development and growth of her family, especially the children's education.
A time to be born:
On Thursday, October, 04, 1984 God gifted this unique soul, a beautiful
bouncing baby girl to Andrea (deceased) & Stanley Wissort. They lovingly
named her Ena Arnett. During the time she was affectionately called Ena or "Bowleg".
A time for school:
Ena's formative years were spent at Claridge Primary, T. G. Glover Primary,
C. C. Sweeting Junior High and later, C. C. Sweeting Senior High. She was kindhearted,
hardworking, very mannerly but most importantly, extremely humble.
A time to work:
Ena has always been good with her hands. When it came to the kitchen or
plaiting young kids hair, she was extremely skillful. Whatever she put her mind to,
she did and did it to the best of her ability. This young lady worked many places
including New Oriental Laundry until she found her true calling, to become a homemaker.
God surely blessed her. She cared for her three children, her husband and her family.
A time to rest:
Throughout Ena's life, she had many illnesses, but she remained faithful and hopeful;
always smiling and trusting in God to bring her through, which He always did.
During June 2022, she was taken to the hospital for severe pain where they discovered
that she was losing a lot of blood and needed a transfusion. Despite all that was happening
to Ena, she still remained faithful and hopeful, trusting in God that He would bring her through,
like He always did, but God had another plan for her. On the afternoon of Thursday, June 30, 2022,
Ena peacefully passed from this life into eternity and went home to be with her Savior.
Her joyous nature and caring spirit contributed greatly to the lives of her family. She will be greatly missed.
