Emily Bridgewater

Emily "Shorty" Bridgewater Age 80 Years completed this earthly walk of life, 
at her daughter's residence, Joan's Heights on Thursday, October 10, 2002.

Emily, was born on Tuesday, February 21, 1922 at Forbes Hill, 
to Peter Bridgewater and Clothilda Rolle, both of whom predeceased her.

She was educated at the All-Age School. Upon leaving school, 
she worked in Nassau as a domestic worker for a while, 
later she became a famous cook at the Palm Tree Restaurant. S
he became an entrepreneur, operating her own restaurant.

The Radiance of this "Amethyst of A Gem" will always glow in the hearts of her:
Four Sons: Nathan and PC 576 Roger Meadows, Obadiah and Martin Clarke;
Four Daughters: Prescola Musgrove, Patsy Munroe, Dyanne Smith of 
Nashville, Tennessee and Esther Bridgewater-Brown;
Twenty-Two: Grand Children;
Eight: Great Grand Children;
One: Great, Great Grand Child;
Brother: Rev. John Bridgewater of Nashville, Tennessee;
Aunt: Estella Bridgewater;
Four Nephews: Leos Sears, Livingston Rolle, Wilfred and Nathaniel Bridgewater;
Three Nieces: Maria Sears, Merlene Bridgewater and May Morris;
Two Sons-in-law: Stafford Musgrove and Jacob Murphy;
Four Daughters-in-law: Lousie and Agatha Meadows, Minna and Rhonda Clarke;
Sister-in-law: Vaniola Bridgewater;
Other loving family and friends.
