Rev. Elect Lady Leonie Curtis-Wallace Age: 65 Years of Butler's Way, off Carmichael Road,
completed her earthly Ministry at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, December 21, 2020.
She was born at Green Castle Eleuthera, the Bahamas on Tuesday, February 15, 1955.
She was the eleventh child. However, God blessed them with twins, whom they named,
Isaac Jr. and Leonie Curtis. Sadly to say, Issac Jr. passed away a few days later,
while the beautiful baby girl Leonie, who was very tiny and frail, was determined to live and not die.
Lee, as she was affectionately called, was a fun, loving, unique child, who was peaceful kind-hearted
and gentle. She grew up in a secure and happy home with six other siblings in Green Castle Eleuthera,
and was also known to be the favorite.
Leonie received her education at the Green Castle All-Age School. At tender age of fourteen (14),
Leonie received Christ into her life, through the Ministry of Prophet Henry and Overseer Althemese
Morley (Deliverance Revival Center, Green Castle Eleuthera). As time went by she grew in grace
in the Lord, being groomed and mentored by Overseer Althemese Morley, who was also the "Mother"
of the Church. Lee was on fire for the cause of Christ, being consumed by winning souls for the Kingdom.
There was no soul that walked away from spending time with her, without their lives being impacted
and changed. Her favorite hymn was "I have decided to follow Jesus, no turning back." She always
hummed this hymn while doing her chores around the house. She also enjoyed, helping "Mother"
with the cooking, baking and cleaning while caring for her nieces and nephews. Leonie was a woman
of faith, who had the grace of God upon her life, with a calm and pleasant demeanor.
Her intellect was fierce and she had a unique ability to touch the lives of both men and women.
This mighty woman of God was a good theologian and excellent in everything she did and accomplished.
She was considered to be a virtuous woman, an Elect Lady and Indeed, a Proverbs 31 Lady.
After she completed her studies in school, she was employed at the Cotton Bay Resort,
Green Castle Eleuthera, where she remained until her relocation to Nassau.
At the age of twenty-two (22) she fell in love and married the dashing, debonair, Bro. Leon Wallace,
who later founded the Voice of Deliverance Disciple Center and became the Nation's Chief Apostle,
also known as "The Voice That Makes The Difference." Together they nurtured The Voice of Deliverance,
while establishing Ministries throughout the Nation and abroad. Chief Apostle Leon and Elect
Lady Leonie Wallace was blessed with many beautiful children.
For the past three (3) years Leonie's health was compromised and was in need of doctor's care
three times per week. She attended Church for the last time on Sunday December 20th 2020.
Then later that night into the morning, she told her husband, Chief Apostle Leon Wallace,
"All is well, I'm just tired." After telling him this three times, she quietly slipped away in his
hands from time to eternity with her Lord and Savior at 1:30am Monday December 21st 2020,
thus fulfilling her earthly purpose.
Elect Lady Leonie Wallace, will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she touched in one
way or another, even if it was just to make someone happy or comfortable. Rest in Peace our
Elect Lady and Treasured Gem.
