Eglon Franklin "Eggie" Burrows Age 65 Years of Apartment #1 Robinson Road and
Podoleo Street repaired his final engine at The Princess Margaret Hospital on Monday, April 20, 2015.

On Wednesday, July 13, 1949 a handsome baby boy was born to Stanley A. Burrows and
Lillian McKenzie in the quaint settlement of Barraterre Exuma.
He was named Eglon Franklin Burrows. Eglon grew up in a
loving home with his grand-parents Herbert and Edith Burrows (both deceased).
He attended Barraterre All Age School and at the age of 12, he and his brother Frederick,
along with their grand-mother re-located to Nassau to live with his father and stepmother.

Eglon attended the Eastern Senior School, and on completing, (not wanting to go to college)
he pursued his passion of becoming a mechanic, and an excellent mechanic he was.
His Specialty was Transmission Repairs. Eglon was one who always took pride in his work.

In 1969, Eglon met the love of his life, the lovely Ena Ferguson, and on Saturday, May 29, 1976
they were united in Holy Matrimony. This union was blessed with three children,
Lisa Sturrup, Shavonne Burrows and Darieo Burrows.

Tuesday, April 07, 2015 Eglon was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital
complaining of not feeling well. He was discharged after a day, but had to
be re-admitted three days later. His conditions worsen on April 18, 2015,
and he had to be admitted to the Intensive Care Unit. During this time,
his brother had the opportunity to remind him of God's forgiveness, the plan of salvation,
and God's love for him. As they prayed, he was satisfied that God's will would be done either
by healing or by taking him home. After Eglon was able to accept God's plan of salvation,
he was ready to go home by refusing surgery. Hours before his death, with his family by
his side he made it clear that all was well, and on Monday April 20th, 2015 at 11:37 P.M.,
Eglon changed time for eternity.
