Effie Katrina "Trina" Knowles Age 65 Years of Adelaide Street,

at her Residence on Wednesday, July 18, 2007.

She was born on Wednesday, August 20, 1941 at Tarpum Bay Eleuthera, The Bahamas.

A lifetime resident of Tarpum Bay Eleuthera, Trina was educated at the Tarpum Bay Public School,
after leaving school went to Nassau where she employed at John S George as a sales clerk for a short period.
Upon returning home, she was employed at The Bahamian Livestock "the farm" were she worked for over
forty years as an assistant manager and secretary until she retired.

"Nancy" as she was affectionately known adopted many traits of her mother,
"Ma Tia" like sewing, crafting, especially baking and cooking. Trina always
opened her heart and home to anyone. She loved her God and church with a
passion and faithfully served in any area where she was needed. She continued
to do this even after she was unable to attend church.

"Ma Trina" as she was known by those who loved her shared many precious times with her family,
her home was "the heart". The love she had for others was multiplied tenfold for her family, especially
her grandchildren. Every day in "Ma Trina" kitchen was like a holiday, food and baked goodies galore,
