Dwayne Bernard Tyrone Strachan Sr. Age 33 Years of Moonshine Drive,
Golden Gates #2 completed this walk of life on Delaporte Point,
West Bay Street on Monday, January 05, 1998.

Dwayne was born in Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas on
Wednesday, July 01, 1964. He received his early education at
Nassau Christian Academy and Queens College, where he graduated in 1980.
Dwayne later attended Florida Air Academy where he earned several Athletic and Music Awards.

Dwayne attended Christ the King Anglican Church in his early years,
where he served as an Alter boy. He was also a member and
trumpet player of the Bahamas Boys Scout Band, under the leadership of Mr. Danny Tynes.

Growing up his dream was to become a mechanical engineer.
Following that dream and upon completion of Florida Air Academy,
he went on to pursue a career in mechanical engineering at
Prairie View University in Prairie View Texas.

Dwayne returned home and took employment at his father's business,
Strachan's Auto and Repair. He later ventured into partnership with his
brother Trevor and they started a business-The Windshield House and
Parts Locator, where he worked tirelessly until his tragic death.

Dwayne was a loving and kind-hearted individual who never said much,
but always gave that assuring smile. He was well loved by all privileged to
know him, especially his children Dwaynia, Dwayne Jr. and D'Vaine.
