Dorothy Adellna Collie-Thompson Age 63 Years of Sandilands Village Road,
departed this life for eternity at her residence on Saturday, November 15, 1997.
She was born at Hard Hill Acklins, Bahamas on Sunday, April 01, 1934.
Delli as she was affectionately called spent her early days on Hard Hill Acklins
and worshipped at St. Mark's Baptist Church.
She received her education at the Sung Corner All Age School
and grew up a hardworking and dedicated young woman.
She later moved to Nassau, where she met and married
Mr. Alfred Alexander Thompson of Long Island.
She later joined the Holy Family Roman Catholic Church,
where she worshipped until she was too ill to attend.
She was very loving, caring and affectionate to all with whom she came into contact.
She always displayed words of encouragement to families and friends.
Even though she was confined to her bed, she was always happy in the Lord.

Mother: Mary Collie;

Six Grandchildren: Debra, Perry, Luther and Huedly Moss, Enith Russell and Shavon Colebrooke;
Eight: Great Grandchildren;
One Sister: Nothly Collie;
Three Nephews: Rudell, Rodney and Phillip Collie;
Eight Nieces Including: Ivis and Dotly Moss, Marion Miller, Florena Clarke, Beril Johnson,
Irene DeCosta and Idamae Lockhart;
Two Sons-in-law: Andrew Colebrooke and George Moss;
One Sister-in-law: Creseta Collie;
Other loving family and friends.
