Clement Edward O’Brien Age 68 Years of #3 Norfolk Street, off Shirlea Road completed his final repair, at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

Clement was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Wednesday, March 27, 1957.
to Cyril Edward Alfred O’Brien and Una Naomi Bostwick.

Affectionately known as “Tammy”, “Tennis”, “Peaches, “Killer” he attended Oakes Field Primary School and later graduated from St. Annes High School, before moving to Freeport to work on the Jetty at Borco.

He was an avid sportsman having participated in long distance running and Softball competition at the High School Level and in local softball leagues in Nassau & Grand Bahama.

He also loved everything New York, the Yankees, Knicks and Jets.

During his time in Freeport, he developed many friends, because of his uncanny ability to get along well with everyone he encountered, whether on the job or otherwise.

He also fathered 2 beautiful daughters, Genoa and Danae, who were his heart.

After spending over 10 years at Borco, he returned to Nassau and started employment with Derek Ferguson Business Machine where he developed a skill for repairing, Fax Machines, time clocks and Cash Registers.

After 3 years with Derek Ferguson, he made a bold move to start his own business where he became well known as a master technician in his field.

Clement is preceded in death by his:
Father: Cyril Edward Alfred O’Brien;
Mother: Una Naomi Bostwick;
Nephew: Giovanni Knowles;
Niece: Gayle Knowles;

The Radiance of this “Bloodstone of A Gem” will always glow in the hearts of his:
Two Daughters: Genoa O’Brien and Danae O’Brien-Boyum (Aaron);
One Grandson: Chad Edward O’Brien Boyum;
One Granddaughter: Jade Elizabeth O’Brien Boyum;
One Brother: Gaye Knowles;
Two Sisters: Denise O’Brien and Erica O’Brien-Symonette;
Four Nephews: Dr. Gaye Ashaini, Gaylord, Georgio and Glenn Knowles;
Two Nieces: Aysha Symonette-Fraser (Devaughn) and Aliyah Symonette;
Grandnephews: Ashton, Jazz and Amahri;
Grandnieces: Tatum, Shannon, Sanaa, Melody, Ayana, Devynn and Arya;
Cousins Including: Yazmy, Shacantila, Antoine, Andrew, Anthony, Kevin, Yvonne, Betty, Sonia and Olivia;
Other Loving Family and Friends Including: Kim Cartwright, The McKenzie, Demeritte, Sherman and Deveaux Families, Jackie Rutherford and Family, Andrew Carroll, Eneas Theophilus, The Rev’d. Peter Rolle, Brian Dean, Christopher and Caroline Pinder, Brian Christie, Dereck “Duckie” Taylor, The Nassau St. Block Boys and the Crew from “Muddy Alley”.
