Christopher Lawrence Butler

Christopher Lawrence Butler Age 53 Years of Watlins Street 
made his final catch at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Thursday, July 16, 2015.

He was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Wednesday, September 13, 1961.  
Christopher commenced his primary education at Columbus Primary and later graduated 
from A. F. Adderley Senior High School.

Immediately following high school, Chris as he was "affectionately called" 
was employed at City Meat Market. Ha was employed there for many years, 
Chris then decided it was time to make a change in his career, he decided to explore the seas 
and became a fisherman. He did this until he became ill.

Christopher was a very outspoken person. He was a person that many loved to be around 
because there was never a dull moment. There were times when he came around by Francina's 
house and the conversations and laughter's went on for hours and Francina (sister) would 
have to say "ok y'all need to go home now it's too much noise". We would all laugh and say 
that's your brother. Chris was loved by many.

Christopher was admitted to Princess Margaret Hospital on July 12, 2015. A few days later 
it seem as though he was improving. There was moment's laughter and conversation shared 
among his daughters, nieces Angie and Chareece and nephew Owen. On Thursday, 16th July, 2015 
Christopher spent his last conscious moment praying and singing with his sister Remelda and nephew Cedric.

Nephew: Stephen McArthur "Greenie" Williamson;

Six Nephews: Cedric Desmond of Alabama, Police Corporal 1995 Cletis Dean, 
Reuben Rolle, Patrick and Gonzales Butler and Quincy Taylor;
Eleven Nieces: Rodreka Brown, Roberta Murray, Tarrah Davis, Shanta, 
Denise and Rubyann Rolle, Chereece Butler, Cherri Armaly, Nakita Hinsey, 
Bridgette Smith and Patricia Cooper;
Grand Nephews and Nieces Including: Owen Knowles, Lakera Moxey, Glisa Rolle, 
Tamyrah Davis, Renise, Edwardo, Tejnah, Edrico, Devanno, Judah, Reukahya, Deangelo, 
Deshanté, Julian and Sweetie;
Other Loving Family and Friends Including: Sam and Allan Brown, Albert Storr, 
Cedric Pratt, Ramon Phillips, Cherise and Terel Wray, Cassandra Clyde, Mitchelene Culmer, 
Reuben and Kevin Rolle, Robert and Idamae Black, Olean Bazzar, Evelyn Paige and their families, 
the Black, Butler and Hudson families.
