Audley Miller

Audley Miller Age: 77 Years of #8 Ghana Circle, Elizabeth Estates 
completed a life of service, at A & A Comfort Care Home for the Elderly, 
#3 Breadfruit Street, Pinewood Gardens on Friday, October 16, 2020.

He was born at Miller's Long Island, The Bahamas on Monday, September 06, 1943.
    
At the age of three, his mother passed away and Audley moved to Abaco 
to live with his uncle. Audley later travelled to Nassau at the age of 16 to seek 
employment. With the help of the late Pastor Gladstone Patton he was employed 
at Sea Floor Aquarium, one of the first commercial aquarium of marine life in 
The Bahamas, as a trainer. Audley loved his new career and worked at the 
Aquarium for 21 years before obtaining employment as a labourer at the 
Bahamas Electricity Corporation. Audley spent 15 years in the Electric Utilities Industry, 
before retiring and starting his own trucking business.

In 1974, Audley met and fell in love with a young woman, Cynthia Elizabeth, and in 1988 they 
were joined in holy matrimony. Audley and Cynthia raised five beautiful, striving children Edlin, 
Aretha, Rickford, Quentin and Shananda. Audley loved to tell jokes to put a smile on your face and 
lighten the load. He loved to laugh. He was generous and more than willing to help others. 
His favorite quote was "you gatta show love man".

In 2018, Audley began experiencing challenges with his health. He fought for 2 years, however, 
it climaxed with a stroke, which he struggled to recover from. Fighting every step of the way, 
he held on until his battle was over, and on the afternoon of Friday the 16th day of October 2020, 
he exchanged time for eternity.

Seven Granddaughters: Ordessa and Sarah Hinsey, Crystal Poitier (Nehemiah), 
Celeste Thurston, Leoche Smith (Kyle), Tanai and Ryck'l Cleare;
One Brother: Ronald Miller;
Four Nephews: Vincent (Marina), Gregory, Kenneth (Leotha) and Dominique Laing (Toya);
Four Nieces: Brenda Thompson (Dexter) Pearline McKinney (Whitney Sr.), 
Carla Bonaby (Hubert) and Monique Laing;
Six Grandnephews: Lamont, Barry, Whitney Jr., Deangelo, Kenneth Jr. and Johnathan;
Eleven Grandnieces: Britney, Susanna, Kentonya, Kenria, Kenya, Andreika, Stircarzio, 
Celeste, Olivia, Debonique and Donequa;
Three Brothers-in-law: Lifton and Ishmael Brown and Dudley McGregor;
Other Loving Family and Friends Including: George Knowles, Edmond Strachan, Phillip, 
Merlyn Farrington, Pratt Family, Tony and Mae Green, Alicia Stuart, Pattie Hepburn, Jean Williams, 
Pastor Celestine Eneas and Tanya Taylor;
