Angela "Angie" Smith Age 54 Years of Smiths Hill South Andros, Bahamas
departed this life at the Princess Margaret Hospital on Saturday, November 14, 2009.

She was born at Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas on Saturday, October 22, 1955.
This child was nicknamed "Angie" and grew up in the small village of Adelaide
where she attended Saint James Anglican Church and received her education
at the Adelaide All Age School. As a child, Angie was a jovial, kind, strong-willed
and honest young woman who enjoyed fishing, climbing trees and dancing.

At the tender age of fifteen (15) Angie left Adelaide village and moved to live
with her older sister Sheila, after claiming her independence and an adult,
Angie moved on her own and was employed as a Barmaid at C. Js Bar.
She was a kindhearted individual who never though anything she had was
too good for any of her relatives who was in need.

In 1985 Angie moved to South Andros, her mother's birth place seeking a
better way of life where she met and wed the late Velock Smith on Sunday, August 07, 1988.
She and Velock never left each other's side. They attended church, fished,
crabbed and traveled together until the time of Velock's demise.
