Amanda Olivia Miller-St. Charles Age: 42 Years of #17 Cottonwood Street, Pinewood Gardens,
completed her final search at Holy Cross Hospital, 4725 N Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
on Monday, June 07, 2021.
On Tuesday, March 13, 1979 the first and only child of Earthlin and Olive Miller was born on
the beautiful settlement of Nassau, Bahamas a baby girl was born and they named her Amanda Olivia.
Amanda was a kind, loving, helpful, outspoken, and caring person. Education was a top priority to her,
especially for her kids, and anyone around her. She loved to tutor and help children with their projects.
She was very generous and always gave a helping hand to those in need. Amanda loved to explore and
try new things. No matter how much times she was brought down she always bounced back and never
gave up. She was truly an admirable person.
A time for Education. Amanda began her early childhood education at Uriah McPhee Primary School
and high school at Aquinas College. Upon her completion of high school she furthered her education
by attending the College of the Bahamas and various institutions where she obtained various certifications.
Throughout her years of schooling on completion she got a job working at a pharmacy for several years,
until she was hired to the Ministry of Tourism staff where she enjoyed interacting and meeting the tourist
collecting data information. Amanda had two beautiful children who were the apple of her eyes who kept
her pushing and fighting because she knew she had to keep running the race for them until they were old
enough to take care of themselves and each other. They were also her reason for never giving up.
Throughout Amanda's life she had many illnesses but she remained faithful and hopeful, always smiling
and trusting in God to bring her through which he always did. During May 2021 she was taken to the hospital
for severe pain where they discovered that she was losing a lot of blood and needed emergency surgery. I
n spite of all that was happening to Amanda she took full charge of sending out messages stating that
she was in urgent need of blood donations. She still remained faithful and hopeful, trusting in God that
He would bring her through like He always did. But, the doctors came across that she needed open
heart surgery and needed to be airlifted June 2021 to Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale where
she still remained in high spirits that this was another challenge that she would overcome.
But God had another plan for her. On the seventh day of June 2021 God called His special gem
Amanda Olivia home where she slowly slipped into time to eternity.
This warrior of a woman has now left memories in our hearts that we will never forget
and carry with us each and every day on.
