Almatha Hutcheson

Almatha Hutcheson Age 90 Years of Geriatric Hospital, 
Fox Hill Road South Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas, 
went to be at rest on Monday, December 10, 2007.

She was born in the quaint settlement of Alice Town, Hatchet Bay Eleuthera, 
The Bahamas on Wednesday, June 06, 1917 she was the fifth of ten children.

She was affectionately called "Matie" by family and friends, 
she was educated at the All-Age Public School at Alice Town, Eleuthera 
and was always considered the brightest in her class. She was a sweet 
and quiet person, who was love by all who came to know her.

Almatha is also preceded in death by her:
Father: Rev. A. E. Hutcheson Sr.;
Mother: Alma Jane Brown-Hutcheson;
Brothers: Rev. John Mervin and Rev. Dr. Albert E. Hutcheson Jr.;
Sisters: Erma Hepburn and Idelle Rolle;
Uncles: John, Victor M.B.E., Gladstone, Washington, Kirk, Raymond, 
Rev. Dr. Harcourt W. and George N. Brown;

The Radiance of this "Pearl of A Gem" will always glow in the hearts of her:
One Brother: Cardinal Hutcheson;
Two Sisters: Corene Thompson and Rhona Bethel Alice Town Hatchet Bay Eleuthera;
Sister-in-law: Nathalie Hutcheson;
Numerous Nephews and Nieces Including: Albert Hutcheson, Maria Hutcheson-Ferguson, 
Andrea Pinder, Nellie Strachan and Melanie Hepburn;
Many other loving family and friends including: Elizabeth Butler, 
the Doctors and Nurses of the Geriatric Hospital.
