Allington Demedith Lewis Age 57 Years of Sea Horse Drive, Sea Breeze
completed his earthly walk of life at his residence on Monday, September 30, 2024.
He was born at Nassau, New Providence, The Bahamas on Sunday, July 16, 1967.
'Ali', as he was affectionately called was the eldest of four siblings and the first and
only male child to his mom Lerlena (predeceased) January 2024.
He began his early education at Ridgeland Primary School; S.C McPherson Junior
High School and ended his formal education at A.F Adderley Senior High School.
During His early years in high school, he gained employment as a packing boy at
Portion Control was his first part time job after school.
During his early years he was an avid church going young man who loved to play
basketball and dreamed of going to the NBA.
Ali went to become a Police officer with Royal Bahamas Police Force for 10 years
of employment where he performed duties in a manner that respected individuals human rights.
Eventually, He started a family and was blessed with two beautiful children Dearrana (daughter)
and Keirano (son). Recently, he was blessed with one grandson whom he sadly didn't get to meet.
Ali was a devout businessman. He tried many things becoming a man of many talents and endless
interest to sustain financial stability.
As an entrepreneur he was one of first to started a water truck home deliveries business
also balancing a lounge & a .bus driver
Over the last 4 years, Ali's health began to slowly challenge him. Following many visits to the doctor,
he was diagnosed with heart issues.
This did not stop him from having a drive to make things happen.
He eventually pursued a career as a certified tour driver and raved about how the guest remembered
'Big Lou'. He would be up before the crack of dawn praying asking God to cover him and order his
steps before taking the day on. He was determined to make things happen and He pushed hard;
despite some painful days he continued on.
To those who knew him best, they could be sure to hear & see his video clips with his heavy yet
radio personality voice saying "Toppa the morning! Another day above ground, Amen.
During the month of September, he was once again heavily challenged & fought hard.
On September 30th, 2024 he succumbed to his illness & passed away in his sleep.
Ali was a beloved Father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend to all.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
