Albertha Marie Mckay

March 16, 1950 — March 23, 2011

Nassau

Albertha Marie "Bertha" McKay Age 61 Years of Kensington Gardens
served her final meal of this earthly life, at the Princess Margaret Hospital
on Wednesday, March 23, 2011.

She was born at Nassau, New Providence, the Bahamas on Thursday, March 16, 1950.
She was the second of six children. Albertha received her early education at
Eastern Junior School and later graduated from Eastern Senior High.

Albertha was affectionately called "Bees" and Aunt B. she was blessed with two sons,
Howard "fish" Mackey and Anthony "soul" Wilson. Bees lived for her children.
She wanted them to have the best. As a mother, she did everything within her
power to ensure that they led a normal successful life. She defended her children
to the very end. She made sure that none one took advantage of them.

She met Henry Joe Frazier who became the love of her life.

One occasion, Albertha would travel to the Berry Island.
She would leave her children in the care of her sister Mary.
Family was always important to her as she kept a close
relationship with them especially her sons and nieces.
Albertha would spend hours by her sister Mary each day.
They were seen as each other's shadow.

Albertha worked along with her sister Mary in the food
catering business from 1998 until 2009.

Albertha was the life of the party. She would lead the way
in joke telling in the family. She would entertain her family
and friends for hours talking about old times.

When one is having a bad day, you could count on her to
make you smile and everyone knew not to get on her bad side.
