She was born in Nassau New Providence, The Bahamas, on Friday, July 13, 1945.  
Albertha was a quite child who grew up to be a virtuous woman. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School.


Albertha was an independent person, who always desires to accomplish what she set out to do,
she was employed at the College of the Bahamas, until her mobility became limited,
where doctors placed her on an early retirement, resulted in her spending much of her time confined in the home.


On Monday, June 09, 1997 she married Wellington McMinns,
her primary goal was to provide for and educate her children,
placing emphasis on honesty, strong morals, good work ethics and Christian Values.
